Since January is almost over, I figured I’d get my “2008” blog posted as well. It’s going to be an exciting year. I want to say it’ll be a fresh start, but it’s not. And I’m glad for that. I’ve found what I truly enjoy and passionate about when I was let go from my previous employer of seven years. Now, it’s a giant leap into photography. I don’t want that to end. 🙂
Towards the end of 2007, I was honored to have been asked to be a part of TriCoast Photography LLC. Mike Fulton and Cody Clinton has been my wedding photography mentors since the day I picked up a camera several years ago. TriCoast has also been recently named Kodak’s Worldwide Photographers to Watch for 2008. Now, I have the opportunity to work with them and witness their shenanigans first hand. Along the way, they have introduced me to numerous other great photographers, each with their own special style. And some of them have become good friends.
Dec 2007 also took me to Hawaii to photograph a beautiful wedding with two of my good friends. Congrats guys!
2007 also ended with a two week tour through New England with my girlfriend. It was a whole different world up there. And I’m glad I finally dropped that mock NE accent 🙂
